Casa Anamaria, hotel & villas is a large and sumptuous patrician villa in a rural hamlet, with its secular masias and annexes, in the middle of majestic gardens and nature, woods and fields, hidden from any neighborhood. The estate is open to the four cardinal points with, in the background, the snow-capped Pyrenees in winter.
It is a place of memories: the old masia Can Motas, now completely renovated, briefly was the residence of Peter IV the ceremonious, king of Aragon and Catalonia.
Fifteen years ago, a Frenchman in love with the province of Girona, Olivier Mitterrand, acquired what was still a farm of nearly 70 hectares. He had it completely renovated and built this Palladian villa, which is now the heart of the hotel complex, thanks to the collaboration of the architect Xavier Gelabert from Barcelona.
Today it is a charming 4-star hotel with 28 particularly comfortable rooms, lounges with fireplace and a library. Each guest has the feeling of being welcomed friendly, in a house with a peculiar charm and refined furnishings.
The hotel is surrounded by two acres of neat gardens, designed by the landscaper Martiria Figueras.

The hotel hosts a small number of exclusive weddings as well as family events, seminars and executive retreats thanks to its restored former barn, which can hold up to fifty participants.
