Casa Anamaria is the dream of a French entrepreneur who, after years of enjoying in Costa Brava, decided to acquire an estate to share with his family. He found the charming Can Motas estate in Pla de l’Estany, a place of Mediterranean fields and forests between Empordà and the pre-Pyrenees.

He restored an old 14th-century masía (Catalan noun for farmhouse), enjoying it with his family for several years. In 2014, he decided to transform the place into a hotel, inspired by his love for classical architecture. He built an elegant mansion in the style of 16th-century Palladian villas, creating spaces that evoke the warmth and comfort of a country house.

Thus, Casa Anamaria Hotel & Villas was born, surrounded by majestic flower gardens, in perfect harmony with the natural environment of Pla de l’Estany. Here, the hotel and the farmhouse blend with the landscape, offering a unique and cosy experience.
